Please allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Roger Zajdel and I am seeking a republican seat for the House of Delegates in the 7^th Legislative District.

My wife Patti and I live in Kingsville, Maryland.  Between us we have 6 children and 11 grandchildren, all of whom have attended, or currently attend, Baltimore or Harford County schools.  We also have two dogs that we have rescued.

I am a small business owner who owns and operates The Commodore Bar and Catering Hall in Middle River.  I have operated this business for 28 years of the 54 years it has been in my family.  I have very strong ties to my community and I am very well aware of how difficult the business environment can be with all of the current regulations, fees and taxes.

I am past President of the Baltimore County Licensed Beverage Association, one of the most active associations in our community today, and I know what it is like to go to Annapolis to fight for what you believe in and what you are entitled to…
I have been there

I have donated use of the Commodore catering hall for many political and community meetings and my door is always open for our community.  We fought against Senate Bill 509 (the government wanting to take our property rights away) and with long hours and hard work, we defeated that bill.
